Blessed New Year, Singapore!

Think you welcomed 2007 about 6 1/2 hours ago while we here in the North have another 7 1/2 hours to go! Thank God for his provision and revelations in the past week here at Urbana'06. It's been amazing and am looking forward to rejoicing and praying in the New Year together with the 22.000 Urbana delegates here!

We had a commitment time today during the morning session where we filled out commitment cards concerning where we go from here. Was just talking to God during that time of silence and telling Him about all the emotions I feel about going back to Singapore and finding a job and all. One word kept resounding in my head - Provision. Think God's assuring me He'll provide and see me through it all. That I just need to let go of my worries and apprehension and dedicate my life to Him for His purpose to go Wherever, do Whatever, Whenever (Rick Warren's 3Ws... yup he spoke at our session last night along with his wife Kay).

You'll never guess who else spoke to us over a telecast... He's one of the many celebrity ambassadors for HIV/AIDs awareness in the ONE campaign. Don't know? BONO!!!! Like U2's very own rock star lead singer, Bono. Never knew he was Christian but anyways! Haha it's was great!

We also had a rap group close the HIV/AIDs awareness session yesterday. They're called the Cross Movement. Can't say that it was my kind of style of worship but ya... It's amazing how diverse our God is and how He's given all of us talents to minister and reach out to different cultures and people groups. Praise God for rap! Praise God for variety! =)

Anyways, will be in NY tomorrow. Gonna stay with some family friends who have kindly opened their home!

Let's be united in prayer that with the New Year, 2007, God's gonna be ever more real in our lives, that we'll continue to press on being His hands and feet and that His out-flowing of His love will be lived out in Jesus' example through us! Let's pray that God's gonna fire up our generation to follow wholly after Him. A bold and courageous generation, armed with God's living Word, living it up for God's glory!

Lord, You are good
Lord, You are good and Your mercy endureth forever (2x)
People from every nation and tongue,
from generation to generation;

Chorus:
We worship You,
Hallelujah (2x).
We worship You for who You are.

We worship You,
hallelujah (2x).
We worship You for who you are and You are good.

Bridge:
You are good all the time,
and all the time You are good
